Bookworm mug

I just thought you all might like to see my bookworm mug, a gift from my son and daughter-in-law. It’s cool enough today that a warm drink is very welcome.

Last of Summer

Fall in the Carolinas is just summer…with pumpkins. And here’s our cat Tigre enjoying the last of the summer-type weather on our porch. That’s his bench, and he spends a great deal of time on it. Note the towel as a seat cover: it’s the only way I can deal with all the cat hair.

Working on A&A stories held for consideration

No more cons for the rest of the year. I was on the program at Ravencon, ConCarolinas, ConGregate, Albacon, and Capclave this year – the largest number of cons I’d been to in one year since I moved south. I don’t have another one scheduled until February.

Since the new edition of Abyss & Apex came out on October 1, my editing projects are caught up, and the cons are over, I can now focus on sending out decisions on the stories A&A has held for consideration. And then, more words for me.
